This heritage journey is for travellers who want to understand Bhutan, not just photograph it. Over nine days it moves from Paro’s museum and fortress to the craft schools of Thimphu, the temples and farms of Punakha, and the open highland valley of Phobjikha.
Each day leaves room for conversation with your guide about architecture, Buddhist practice and rural life. The long return from Phobjikha is treated as a full travel day, followed by a final night in Paro before you fly.
